Gas & Chemical Technician/ Manufacturing Technician – MEGASYS® Team
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Location: Chandler, AZ
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
  • Rotating weekly schedule: 36 hours one week / 48 hours the next
  • Must be open to both day and night shifts
About the Role
We are seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician/ Manufacturing Technician to join the MEGASYS® team in Chandler, AZ. Technicians support semiconductor manufacturing by ensuring the safe and reliable supply of gases and chemicals used in chip production. This is a hands-on, physically active role where you’ll gain technical experience, receive on-the-job training, and be part of a growing business that powers the devices we use every day.
Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and maintain chemical and gas distribution systems
  • Handle and change out gas, chemical, and slurry containers (cylinders, drums, totes, bulk tankers)
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventative/repair maintenance on equipment
  • Complete system adjustments and update electronic equipment logs
  • Manage inventory, container handling, and bulk liquid gases
  • Serve as the primary communication point with the customer
  • Follow all safety protocols, including use of respirators and PPE as required
Physical Requirements
  • Walk 3–5 miles per day throughout the facility
  • Climb ladders up to 12 feet (with fall protection)
  • Lift up to 40–50 lbs.
  • Bend, reach overhead, and step up/down in close quarters
  • Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, gloves, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with gas or chemical-related equipment
  • Prior military service (all branches/MOS encouraged to apply)
  • Experience in semiconductor, chemical, or gas delivery systems
  • Strong technical aptitude with troubleshooting ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • 1+ years of warehouse or inventory control experience
  • Ability and willingness to work 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, and rotating schedules
