Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Material Program Coordinator to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. A Material Program Coordinator compiles, monitors, and reports material health and status for the purpose of achieving program milestones and objectives.

Schedule – Monday – Friday, must be flexibility by working overtime as needed 

Pay - $25.64

MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Proficiency in basic computer software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understand and interpret purchase order requirements accurately.
  • Familiarity with materials, yard functions, and procedures is required.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in resource planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to multitask and manage large workloads effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Collaborate with Material Program Managers, Buyers, Accounting personnel, Production Control personnel, and suppliers as needed.
  • Verify and distribute materials in the yard, including providing projected delivery and receipt dates to the Material Program Manager.
  • Communicate with production, purchasing, and engineering teams to optimize material utilization, minimizing the need for new or duplicate orders.
  • Interface with the receiving warehouse to confirm purchase order requirements against receipts.
  • Maintain organized document filing according to departmental standards.
  • Develop and publish metrics to evaluate business system requirements, such as shelf time and order vs. need dates.
  • Coordinate with Parts Master, Planning, and Engineering departments for new parts development.
  • Compile detailed weekly reports on material impacts and program status.
  • Assist in achieving program goals related to material health and production support.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental policies, and quality system principles.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or requested by Management.
