Bilingual Community Health Specialist
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Bilingual Community Health Specialist for a long-term contract role in Chattanooga, TN.
As a Community Health Specialist, you will help improve the health and well-being of Hamilton County residents by supporting community outreach programs, providing health education, connecting individuals with available resources, and building relationships with community organizations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with people and making a positive impact within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support community health and wellness programs
- Conduct outreach events, presentations, and health education initiatives
- Assist with case management, referrals, and coordination of services
- Build partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations
- Support prevention and intervention programs
- Maintain accurate documentation and program records
- Participate in community events and public outreach activities
- Assist with planning and evaluating community health programs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Community Health, Human Services, Social Work, Health Education, or a related field (preferred)
- Associate degree with relevant experience may also be considered
- Experience in community outreach, healthcare, public health, or social services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Valid driver's license
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
