Sirius Staffing is seeking a Groundskeeper to take care of buildings and carry out cleaning, maintenance, and other duties as needed for the Parks and Recreation Department at Enterprise South Nature Park in Chattanooga, TN. This position has the potential to transition into a permanent opportunity.

PTO and Holiday pay

Work Schedule:

Friday – Sunday, 7:00a- 3:00p

Monday 7:00 am-1:00 pm

Full Time, Contract Position, 30 hours/ week until October 2023

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day custodial acts for the common areas, light maintenance, general office assistance, and lawn and garden maintenance.

• Weed Eating and Cutting trees.

• Stock and maintain supply rooms.

• Trash disposal, Recycling picks up, and courier duties as needed.

• Operating a Water Truck for transportation around the park.

• Provide professional, courteous customer service for Park visitors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license

• Two (2) years of experience in the cleaning and gardening field plus the ability to learn from on-the-job experience.

• The ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions
