Sirius Staffing is seeking a CAD Designer in McIntosh, AL to support technical design and drafting efforts in a dynamic, team-driven environment. This role offers a flexible onsite schedule starting at 2 days per week, with the opportunity to increase hours as project demand grows—ideal for an experienced CAD professional seeking flexibility while working on impactful projects.
Position Details

Overview
The CAD Designer will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality technical drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation. This role works closely with engineering, operations, and project managers to ensure designs meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications into detailed designs
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to revise and update drawings
- Ensure all designs meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- Maintain drawing records, documentation, and version control
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project timelines and deliverables
Required Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of CAD design experience
- Proven ability to produce accurate, detailed technical drawings
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and initiative
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of environmental, safety, and health (EHS) standards and regulatory compliance
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
Work Environment
- 100% onsite role
- Extended use of CAD software and computer systems
