Shift:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate:
$26.68 - $28.50/hr (based on experience, final decision by hiring manager)
This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting and leading the technical demands of gas and chemical equipment operations across multiple buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and troubleshoot gas and chemical distribution systems across 11 buildings in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols, including maintenance procedures and emergency response readiness.
- Write, edit, and execute operating and maintenance procedures with a focus on zero safety or quality incidents.
- Handle inventory management, offloading chemicals, coordinating deliveries, and transporting materials.
- Perform cylinder and drum changes, install, decommission, troubleshoot, and repair gas and chemical systems, including:
- Gas Systems
- Applied Energy Systems gas systems
- Fuji liquid delivery systems
- Air Liquide Gas and Chemical systems
- Participate in comprehensive training and on-the-job qualification programs with a structured promotion track across five technician levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and technical operations.
- Ability to lift materials over 20 lbs and work in an environment requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Forklift experience (certification preferred), pallet jack operation, and barcode system experience (a plus).
- Willingness to work in a role requiring a respirator and standard physical exam due to exposure to chemicals.
