Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 2 PM - 12:30 AM)
Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour (based on skill set; includes 7% shift differential)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Packaging Technician II to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to stage, fill, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products. Candidates should have a strong understanding of quality and safety protocols and be eager to learn and contribute to a team-oriented setting.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Packaging Technician II to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to stage, fill, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products. Candidates should have a strong understanding of quality and safety protocols and be eager to learn and contribute to a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities:
- Stage, fill (manually or semi-automatically), cap, label, and overpack chemical products according to approved specifications.
- Complete accurate packaging documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
- Deliver finished products to inventory while adhering to all quality and safety protocols.
- Follow quality systems and actively participate in safety initiatives.
- Train team members as needed and contribute to team projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience:
- 5-6 years in a chemical or packaging environment.
- Familiarity with chemical mixing, labeling, and handling.
- Skills:
- Proficient in basic math and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Preferred:
- Previous experience with SAP systems.
- Familiarity with ISO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting equipment.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including air helmets, masks, safety shoes, aprons, Tyvek suits, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Maintain a clean-shaven face daily for respirator fit compliance.
Education Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma.
