Job Title: Chemical Packaging Technician (Level 2)
? Schedule: 2nd Shift – Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM
? Pay: $20 - $23/hr (based on experience) + 7% shift differential
? Start Date: ASAP (after background check clearance)
? Job Type: Temp-to-Permanent

What You’ll Do:
You will be working in a chemical packaging environment, handling and preparing chemicals for shipment. Your responsibilities include:
✔️ Filling & Packaging: Measure, pour, cap, and label liquid or powdered chemicals using manual or semi-automated machines.
✔️ Following Safety Guidelines: Wear the required safety gear, including a respirator, gloves, protective suits, and goggles. (Must be clean-shaven daily for the respirator fit test.)
✔️ Documentation & Data Entry: Record packaging details accurately in the system. (Basic computer skills required.)
✔️ Teamwork & Training: Work with others and train new employees as needed.
✔️ Heavy Lifting & Repetitive Work: Be prepared to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs using proper equipment.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ 5-6 years of experience in a chemical or packaging environment
✅ Ability to understand and perform basic math (needed for measuring and mixing)
✅ Basic computer skills for data entry
✅ Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
✅ Must pass a respirator fit test (clean-shaven required daily)
