Cleanroom Sanitation Specialists
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking multiple Cleanroom Sanitation Specialists for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Indianapolis, IN..
Pay: $22.00 to $24.00/ hour
Schedule: (1st Shift) 7a-330p, and (2nd shift) 3p-11:30p.
Summary: support a pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). This role is critical in maintaining a sterile, compliant environment and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of GMP areas, including production rooms, laboratories, and storage spaces.
- Use approved cleaning agents and techniques to prevent contamination.
- Restock and maintain PPE supplies, ensuring proper storage and availability.
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs and records following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for sanitation.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Participate in ongoing training for best practices and updated sanitation protocols.
- Report any non-conformities or issues encountered during cleaning processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in GMP cleaning is a plus).
- Experience in cleaning or sanitation within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict cleaning protocols.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working with chemicals or substances requiring PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a controlled environment with strict safety and hygiene requirements.
