Cloud Engineer
Location: Lutz, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday; onsite 4 days per week

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a long-term contract in Lutz, Florida. This position requires a combination of general Azure knowledge and strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, and Terraform.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Must have 4 or more years of hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure, networking, governance, security, and IaC.
- Must have strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, and Terraform.
- Must have experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Azure CLI, and PowerShell scripting.
- Must be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship now and/or in the future.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Azure design principles, including:
- Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Azure Well-Architected Framework (WAF)
Key Responsibilities & Technical Areas:
Azure Compute & Storage
- Work with Azure compute and storage services.
Azure Networking
- Work with Azure Virtual WAN.
- Support private endpoints.
- Support hybrid connectivity.
Azure Governance & Security
- Work with Azure Policies.
- Support Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Utilize Azure Advisor and Secure Score.
- Work with Defender for Cloud.
Azure Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Work with Azure DevOps.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Use Git for source control.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform.
- Use Azure CLI.
- Develop and utilize PowerShell scripting.
Azure Operations & Management
- Work with Azure Monitor.
- Support Azure Backup.
Azure Identity & Access Management
- Work with hybrid identity.
- Support Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Work with Conditional Access.
- Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
