Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Data Entry Clerk / Administrative Support in Chattanooga, TN. In this role, you will perform a variety of customer service, data entry, and office support duties for county departments.
Rate: $15.81/hr + Holiday Pay & PTO Accrued
Hours: Mon – Fri 8a-4p
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry, updates, and verify confidential data in departmental systems
- Assist walk‑in customers and respond to phone/email inquiries
- Prepare, print, mail, and file notices, forms, records, and reports
- Research files and retrieve information for staff or external agencies
- Maintain logs, databases, and documentation according to county standards
- Support departmental staff with administrative tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six (6) months of customer service or general office (administrative) experience
- Ability to learn department‑specific systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
Physical Requirements: Work may require extensive keyboarding, filing, bending, lifting up to 20 pounds, and other routine office activities.
