Job Description
Sirius Staffing is currently looking to fill three General Dentist positions in Chattanooga, TN. These are Direct Hire opportunities offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including holiday pay, PTO and retirement. Contact us today for more details.
Additionally, this opportunity includes eligibility for the Tennessee State Loan Repayment Program (TSLRP), providing up to $50,000 in loan repayment assistance.
Set work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8a-4p or 730a-330p
Requirements:
- Tennessee Dental Board License
- Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree or Doctor of Dental Surgery
- DEA Certificate and current BLS CPR Certification
- Proficient in professional dental methods, practices, and procedures
- Familiarity with federal, state, and county laws, regulations, and safety and health practices
- Understanding of management and administrative practices
- Knowledge of adult and child educational and instructional methods
- Awareness of equipment maintenance and sterilization practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct oral exams, referring patients to dental hygienists for prophylactic cleaning, x-rays, and oral hygiene instruction.
- Review medical history, provide restorative treatments, preventive fluoride, and sealant treatments.
- Perform extractions and emergency dental treatments, prescribe medications, and maintain accurate dental records.
- Offer consultations to patients regarding treatment options, costs, and oral hygiene.
- Oversee dental staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety precautions and training in the use of equipment.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of sitting and standing during examinations and treatments.
- Squatting or bending for proper patient access and ergonomic positioning.
- Effective verbal communication, acute hearing, and good vision for patient interaction and dental procedures.
- Manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination for intricate dental work.
- Exposure to various chemicals, potential radiation, infectious diseases, and potentially combative patients.
