Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking an Embedded ICA (Instrumentation, Controls and Automation) specialist for a contract position in Monaca, PA. The Embedded ICA Specialist has the knowledge and experience to provide clients with the superior services. This person will be onsite with our client to determine the specific needs for their situation. The ideal candidate thinks on their feet, is a true solution provider, and is a great communicator with vendors, clients, and staff alike. 
 
Pay: $40-70/hr BOE
  
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
  • Responds to maintenance requests in the field.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues with the industrial PLCs and DCSs.
  • Performs root cause analysis of issues.
  • Documents and communicates steps taken to resolve issues.
  • Interprets and uses drawings to track down and troubleshoot instrumentation, wiring, loop sheets, and control system issues. 
  • Redlines drawings.
  • Supports the plant after hours as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all client policies, procedures, safety, and technical standards.
  • Represent and balance the client's and the organization's interests.
  • Experience with E&I instrumentation - set up and trouble shooting
 
QUALIFICATION and SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ experience relevant experience 
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose PLCs & DCSs.
  • Experience using software: Modicon, Emerson DCS & Rockwell
  • Strength in reading and interpreting instrumentation plan drawings, I/O drawings, wiring diagrams, and loop sheets.
  • Ability to program PLCs/HMIs/DCSs is a plus
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
