Engineering Coordinator
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to provide administrative and project support for capital projects and engineering teams. You must have strong organizational skills, experience with SAP and Excel, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision while ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
Pay & Benefits: $25–30/hr BOE
Comprehensive benefits package + Paid Time Off (PTO) & Holiday Pay
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hybrid schedule may be considered)
Key Responsibilities:
- Capital Project Group Support:
- Enter capital authorization requests and update monthly budget reports.
- Coordinate with accounting and controlling teams on project capitalizations.
- General Engineering Support:
- Report on engineering time allocations to accounting.
- Manage procurement activities, including purchase request entry, tracking, and invoice coordination with the Accounts Payable department.
- Coordinate and monitor requests for new contractors and track the approval status of current contractors.
- Compliance & Reporting:
- Develop working knowledge of company policies and procedures to monitor and maintain compliance with required standards.
- Collect data and generate reports to identify and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Must have experience with basic office/operational systems.
- Must have strong knowledge and experience with SAP software & Microsoft Excel
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey ideas, request actions, and contribute to planning and decision-making.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and oversee activities with guidance (but not constant supervision) to meet business objectives.
- Capability to interpret policies and procedures, ensure compliance, and produce clear, effective reports.
