- Salary: $105k - $125k + bonus
Sirius Staffing is seeking an Environmental Manager for an opportunity at a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role focused on environmental compliance, permitting, and program management. You will work cross-functionally to ensure regulatory compliance and support sustainability initiatives across the site.
In this role, you will be on-site and report to the site EHS Manager, taking ownership of environmental programs within a complex manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor environmental regulations and ensure organizational compliance with local, state, and federal requirements
- Manage and support air permitting (Title V), including reporting and permit renewals
- Maintain environmental programs related to Air, Waste, Wastewater, Storm Water, and SPCC
- Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management programs
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies
- Educate and train employees on environmental compliance requirements
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, consultants, and internal stakeholders regarding permits and compliance matters
- Support emergency response planning and environmental contingency programs
- Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Promote sustainable practices and continuous improvement across the site
What They’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience in environmental compliance within a manufacturing, chemical, or industrial setting
- Strong exposure to environmental permitting, with a preference for air permitting (Title V)
- Experience working with regulatory agencies and reporting requirements
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of environmental programs at the site level
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience focused on environmental compliance
- Familiarity with Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and RCRA.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in environmental monitoring and reporting tools.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no sponsorship available)
