Environmental Program Manager
Direct Hire

Salary Range: $105,000–$125,000 + bonus plan
Sirius Staffing is seeking an Environmental Program Manager to oversee environmental compliance programs, lead assessments, and drive initiatives that reduce environmental impact. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to support sustainability goals and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. The Environmental Program Manager will work onsite at a manufacturing facility in Mojave, CA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor evolving environmental regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Manage and support Title V reporting and permit renewal processes.
  • Maintain environmental training programs (Air, Waste, Wastewater, Stormwater, SPCC).
  • Oversee waste management activities.
  • Prepare required reports and documentation for regulatory agencies.
  • Educate and train employees on environmental issues and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, consulting partners, and stakeholders on environmental permits and regulations.
  • Manage emergency response and contingency planning.
  • Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  • Promote sustainable practices across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance; familiarity with the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and RCRA.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency with environmental monitoring and reporting tools.
  • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with asylee/refugee status.
