Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a long-term Contract opportunity in Rockville, MD. You must be within a 50 miles radius within Rockville MD. 
Schedule: Monday to Friday ( 8 hours per day)
Pay: $31.00 to $33.00/ hour 
As  a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, preventative maintenance, and qualification of water purification systems throughout the You will also be responsible to provide backup support to neighboring territories as required.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, perform preventative maintenance, and qualify water purification systems within designated territory.
  • Provide backup support to neighboring territories as required.
  • Deliver professional service on a timely basis, respecting all customer on-site rules and regulations.
  • Complete accurate and detailed Work Orders and related documentation daily.
  • Provide customers with appropriate documentation of work completed, including service reports and routine maintenance records.
  • Maintain consignment inventory and tools in proper working order and calibration.
  • Generate leads for new hardware, consumables, accessories, and service contracts.
  • Maintain timely and effective communication between all customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with custom engineered system installations with support from supervisors and managers.
  • Submit expense reports every two weeks.
  • Meet customer site requirements, including vendor credentialing and background checks
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical degree preferred. High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of field service experience also accepted.
  • Proficiency with tools and test equipment, as well as basic IT skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult customers and situations with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum 1-year field service experience or experience in other applicable skilled trades.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 165lbs, with assistance if needed.
  • Clean driving record for company car.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as required (10-60% of the time) and work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and holidays.
Note: This position requires a valid passport or eligibility to obtain one. Overnight travel, overtime, and emergency service may be required based on business needs.
