Job Description

Sirius Staffing is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to become part of our team based in Pascagoula, MS, working for a large Manufacturing site. We're looking for a Financial Analyst to analyze financial data and provide insights into project management programs. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering and interpreting financial information for clients.

This role operates on a 4/10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, with flexible hours falling within standard business hours. Initially, you will undergo in-office training for the first few weeks, gradually transitioning to a hybrid schedule that includes working from home on Mondays.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and present technical reports using spreadsheets, charts, and graphs.
  • Conduct financial analysis to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions for cost estimation.
  • Utilize CMMS (Maximo) for issuing Service & Purchase Orders to vendors.
  • Oversee the CSI process to ensure accurate tracking of project costs.
  • Regularly update Management and Stakeholders on cost status.
  • Maintain organized data for year-end accruals.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related financial discipline.
  • Advanced degree in a financial discipline preferred.
 
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous financial or accounting experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in analyzing business trends and projecting future revenues and expenses.
  • Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, as well as financial data reporting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as financial software like Smart by GEP, Ariba, and SAP.
