Job Description

Job Title: Gas & Chemical Technician
Location: Tualatin, OR
 Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
 Pay Rate: $27/hr
Job Overview:
A leading company in the high-tech materials and specialty chemicals industry is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician to join its team in Tualatin, OR. This role involves supporting the technical demands of site gas and chemical distribution systems while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. The position offers structured training and a clear career progression path within a growing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cylinder and drum changes for gas and chemical distribution systems.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with gas and chemical equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and operational procedures.
  • Maintain and support over 500 pieces of distribution equipment from various manufacturers.
  • Contribute to safety initiatives and drive a ZERO incident culture.
  • Assist with the installation, decommissioning, maintenance, and repair of gas systems, precursor delivery systems, and bulk chemical distribution systems.
  • Participate in Basic Safety Process (BSP), preventative maintenance, and training programs.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1+ years of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with chemical and gas distribution equipment.
  • Background in Navy Nuclear Power School or military mechanical training.
