Sirius Staffing is hiring an I&E Construction Manager for a long-term contract in Etowah, TN, for a chemical Manufacturing site.
The I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) Construction Manager oversees the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems for instrumentation and controls projects. This role ensures project implementation is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety protocols, encompassing contractor management, project scheduling, and technical problem-solving.

Sirius Staffing is hiring an I&E Construction Manager for a long-term contract in Etowah, TN, for a chemical Manufacturing site.
The I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical) Construction Manager oversees the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems for instrumentation and controls projects. This role ensures project implementation is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety protocols, encompassing contractor management, project scheduling, and technical problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Field Management: Direct daily construction activities, including contractor supervision, inspection coordination, and site safety compliance
- Project Controls: Monitor project schedules, progress, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
- Technical Oversight: Ensure all electrical, instrumentation, and automation components are installed according to engineering designs and specifications
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce company and regulatory HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) standards and participate in audits
- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field operations to align on scope, constructability, and material procurement
- Documentation: Maintain project records and manage contractor change orders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or 7+ years of equivalent experience
- Experience with PLC systems, SCADA, and field instruments
- Must have construction management experience
- Significant experience in industrial construction, specifically with I&E systems in industries such as oil & gas
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, instrumentation installation, and technical schematics
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
