Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Allentown, PA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23/hr 

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Forklift operator for a position in Allentown, PA. 

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sit-down forklift experience
  • Ability to read, speak, hear, and understand English (written and verbal)
  • Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, selecting carts, packing equipment, and cutting tools
  • Ability to operate PCs, printers, and other office equipment
  • Exemplary attendance and adherence to scheduled work hours
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts and order pickers
  • Load and unload trailers and trucks with raw materials, finished goods, and waste products
  • Select orders and put away inbound materials into inventory
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment; unpack inbound materials as required
  • Perform and document daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report maintenance issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Move, stack, and stage materials in designated locations, including high racking systems
  • Accurately track product movement using handheld scanners or manual documentation
  • Follow all safety rules, company policies, and operational procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach above shoulder level, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
  • Ability to remain on feet for up to eight hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted; heavier items moved with assistance
  • Ability to talk, hear, taste, and smell
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, with the ability to adjust focus
  • Regular use of phones, computers, keyboards, monitors, and other office equipment
