Job Description
Sirius Staffing seeking a skilled Megasys Technician to support gas and chemical systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with chemical and/or gas equipment and a strong focus on safety, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Job Title: Megasys Technician (Gas & Chemical Systems)
Location: Fremont, CA
Duration: Contract
Pay Rate: $28 – $31/hr (BOE)
Shift: TBD (Training: Monday–Friday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the operation and maintenance of site gas and/or chemical distribution equipment
- Perform cylinder and drum change-outs on gas and chemical systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and quality requirements
- Maintain and support over 500+ pieces of distribution equipment from various vendors
- Participate in preventative maintenance, safety processes, and quality management initiatives
- Assist with installation, decommissioning, repair, and troubleshooting of gas systems, precursor delivery systems, and bulk chemical distribution systems
- Promote and maintain a zero safety and quality incident culture
Training & Growth:
- Comprehensive on-the-job training (OJT) and technical development programs provided

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance or equipment technician
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with chemical and gas distribution systems
- Military technical training (e.g., Navy Nuclear, mechanical roles)
Additional Information:
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with chemicals and gases
- Random drug testing is required, including THC screening
