Pay Rate: $32
Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Production Technician to join our Manufacturing team. This role requires demonstrated expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, with the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment in a cleanroom/aseptic environment. The Production Technician will ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards while overseeing and supporting manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, calibrate, and adjust production equipment (fillers, labelers, automated packaging systems) to meet product specifications.
  • Assemble containers and components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with production requirements.
  • Perform equipment preparation, disinfection, autoclaving, and housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and product integrity.
  • Verify lot numbers, quantities, and materials for accuracy; maintain accurate documentation for traceability.
  • Operate and troubleshoot automated labeling, bagging, and packaging equipment.
  • Enter and update production data in SAP and mainframe systems.
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and address shortages as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe safety shoes.
  • Oversee the work of other manufacturing team members, ensuring adherence to procedures and quality standards.
  • Participate in process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Immediately report any situation that could compromise safety or product quality.
Qualifications

Required:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
  • Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, including cleanroom/aseptic operations.
  • Ability to work a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools, air tools, pumps, and material handling equipment.
  • Basic math skills (including metric conversions) and ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience maintaining accurate records and performing equipment troubleshooting.
  • Ability to lift over 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred:
  • College coursework in Chemistry.
  • Experience weighing chemicals.
  • Prior certification for entry into an aseptic core.
Additional Information
  • This role involves exposure to chemicals; PPE will be provided.
  • Must maintain exemplary attendance and adherence to schedule.
