Production Technician (Weekend Shift)
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46268
Employment Type: Contingent / Full-Time Hours
Shift: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Weekend Shift)
Pay Rate: $32.00- per hour

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Production Technician to join their Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operations team in Indianapolis. This hands-on role supports aseptic production processes, equipment preparation, packaging, labeling, and documentation activities in compliance with safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates will bring prior pharma manufacturing or cleanroom experience and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and calibrate equipment for operation and testing according to specifications.
  • Adjust, assemble, and operate filler and labeling equipment for portioning and packaging.
  • Conduct cleaning and disinfection of equipment, tools, and work areas (including autoclaving).
  • Verify lot numbers, quantities, and labeling accuracy for all components and finished goods.
  • Portion and package materials under safe and compliant production conditions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for traceability and accountability in SAP and mainframe systems.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and share cost-saving or efficiency ideas.
  • Oversee the performance and safety of other team members during operations.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or cleanroom manufacturing experience
  • Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, and quality control standards
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and work in a physically active environment
Preferred:
  • College coursework in chemistry or a related field
  • Experience with SAP or electronic batch records
  • Prior certification for Aseptic Core entry

  • Shift: Weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Pay Range: $32.00/hour
  • Environment: Cleanroom / Controlled manufacturing setting
  • Physical Requirements: Standing, lifting up to 20 lbs, wearing PPE
