Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Logistics & Inventory Control Specialist/Warehouse Operator to support material flow within a regulated chemical manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting compliant material handling, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods from receipt through final shipment.

Contract duration : 1 year (with possible extension)
Pay : $25/hr on W2
Schedule : 8am - 5pm

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, demonstrates strong organizational discipline, and understands the importance of regulatory compliance in a quality-focused operation.
Core Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliation activities
- Investigate discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures
- Monitor and manage expired, obsolete, or non-conforming materials
- Maintain accurate location tracking within inventory management systems
Receiving & Material Processing
- Process inbound materials by verifying documentation against purchase orders
- Inspect, label, and store materials according to internal standards
- Post receipts into inventory management systems accurately and timely
- Manage stock returns and ensure timely distribution of materials to internal departments
Shipping & Distribution
- Coordinate preparation and shipment of finished goods, raw materials, and samples
- Ensure shipments comply with applicable transportation regulations (including hazardous material standards)
- Support order finalization activities including system posting and documentation
- Maintain organized staging areas to support efficient outbound operations
- Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to meet shipping requirements
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in inventory, logistics, or chemical/material handling environments
- Prior experience in regulated manufacturing or chemical distribution environments preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and record accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
