Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: 100% On-Site – Broadway Facility- St. Louis, MO 63118
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Type: Temporary with potential for permanent hire

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team at the Broadway site. This position plays a vital role in the production process by setting up, operating, and cleaning equipment, completing batch records, and supporting aseptic manufacturing procedures. Candidates must be punctual, safety-conscious, and possess strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate processing equipment (e.g., Filter Integrity testing, Watson Marlow pumps, autoclaves, high throughput bag line)
  • Perform aseptic production operations including hand filling, equipment preparation, and gowning
  • Deliver materials using a motorized pallet jack
  • Clean equipment and manufacturing suites post-production
  • Properly label all in-process equipment and containers
  • Execute batch records and log entries accurately using SAP
  • Coordinate disposal of waste and complete compliance documentation
  • Participate in quality and safety training
  • Support Manufacturing Tech I activities as needed
  • Perform in-process assays and package technically challenging products
  • Identify and resolve unsafe conditions or deviations, escalating as appropriate
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability
  • Must wear steel-toed shoes and be respirator-compliant
  • Ability to lift over 20 lbs
  • Must be able to pass a standard physical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some college coursework or Associate’s Degree
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with aseptic techniques, pipetting, or osmometer use
  • Familiarity with SAP and computer systems
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and safe chemical handling
Work Environment & Safety:
  • Exposure to chemicals and substances requiring PPE
  • Respirator use required
  • No exposure to bloodborne pathogens or animals
  • No forklift operation required
