Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Materials Handlers to support our Buffers/ADC operations. This short-term assignment involves unboxing and staging raw materials for manufacturing processes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Unbox and stage raw materials for manufacturing processes according to established procedures.
- Verify product type, quantity, and intended use before unboxing.
- Organize and maintain a clean, orderly staging area for inventory.
- Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve material issues (e.g., missing or damaged items).
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
- Complete and understand procedural training via computer systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of materials.
- Excellent organizational skills for inventory management and staging.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move boxes (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic computer skills for completing procedural training.
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities.
- Problem-solving skills to address material discrepancies quickly.
- Commitment to safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
