Sirius Staffing is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a long-term contract position in Woodland, TX.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM CST

Job Overview:
As a Laboratory Technician to support oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and quality control in a dynamic lab environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable with routine lab duties, and experienced in following SOPs for high-quality production.
As a Laboratory Technician to support oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and quality control in a dynamic lab environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, comfortable with routine lab duties, and experienced in following SOPs for high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create production batches and route based on specifications.
- Synthesize oligonucleotides using various platforms and perform necessary conjugations/modifications.
- Conduct cleavage and deprotection processes according to product requirements.
- Purify materials and submit for quality control testing.
- Prepare reagents, stock raw materials, and handle labeling, kitting, and quantification.
- Execute manual and automated liquid handling (sampling, dilutions, transfers, aliquoting).
- Use LIMS accurately throughout all manufacturing steps.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper PPE usage; report hazards to supervisor.
- Perform equipment cleaning/sanitization and accuracy checks to ensure high product quality.
- Complete all documentation and quality assurance records with precision.
Requirements:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years of laboratory experience
- Preferred: Associate degree with 6+ months of laboratory experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
