Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Network & Systems Security Analyst II for a full-time, onsite 6-month contract opportunity in Tampa, FL. This position will support the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of enterprise network, server, and storage infrastructure while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Windows servers, VMware environments, Cisco networking, firewalls, storage systems, and cybersecurity technologies. This role also offers opportunities to lead infrastructure projects, provide technical guidance, and support disaster recovery initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network, server, and storage infrastructure.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve network and server-related issues.
- Install, configure, and support hardware and software solutions that meet company security standards.
- Support and maintain technologies including:
- Cisco switching and routing
- DNS/DHCP
- Windows Active Directory
- VMware virtualization
- Firewalls and network security systems
- Storage Area Networks (SAN)
- Perform hardware installation, upgrades, maintenance, and system configuration changes.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
- Provide security consulting and technical support across multiple platforms and operating systems.
- Deliver second-level support for security systems and authentication mechanisms.
- Lead or assist with infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams and external vendors to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related IT discipline preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience supporting Windows Servers, VMware, Cisco networking, firewalls, and Storage Area Networks (SAN).
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, switching, routing, and cybersecurity best practices.
- At least one associate-level and one advanced-level certification such as CCNA, CCNP, VCP, MCSA, MCSE, CEH, GIAC, or CISSP.

This position requires working onsite at the Tampa, FL facility and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.
