Database Administrator

What You’ll Do
As a Database Administrator, you’ll be part of a collaborative DBA team supporting enterprise database environments. You’ll contribute to database upgrades, new initiatives, and ongoing operational support, working closely with developers, end users, and other IT stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Build new database systems or modify existing ones under the guidance and review of senior team members
  • Participate in database upgrades, maintenance activities, and project work
  • Provide operational database support and troubleshooting
  • Ensure database solutions align with enterprise IT architecture standards
  • Document technical processes and follow established technical documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams and, when needed, external vendors or consultants
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as required
Qualifications
Experience
  • Approximately 5 years of experience in a Database Administrator or similar role
Core Technical Skills
  • SQL Server
  • PowerShell
  • Database auditing
  • Database upgrades and maintenance
  • Oracle Database (preferred, but optional)
Working Knowledge Of
  • Active Directory
  • Windows environments
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Microsoft Azure
Additional Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Commitment to quality and operational excellence
  • Ability to clearly document technical solutions and procedures
