Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Primavera P6 Project Scheduler for a long-term contract in Lutz, FL.
Summary
The Project Scheduler provides scheduling and reporting support for engineering, procurement, and construction projects. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Primavera P6 schedules, coordinating schedule updates with internal teams and external contractors, and supporting project controls reporting related to schedule performance, milestones, and execution status.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities.
- Coordinate schedule updates with internal teams, consulting engineers, EPC contractors, and suppliers
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify variances, risks, and recovery opportunities.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and support corrective action discussions
- Produce schedule reports, milestone updates, look-ahead schedules, and portfolio-level reporting.
- Support change order reviews and schedule impact analysis.
- Collaborate with Project Controls and Energy Delivery teams to support integrated cost, schedule, and performance reporting.
- Review contractor quantity and progress reporting for accuracy.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience performing duties and responsibilities related to project scheduling.
- Working knowledge of project scheduling concepts and systems, with demonstrated aptitude using specialized scheduling software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with external engineering and construction firms, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Understanding of SAP and ERP systems.
- Experience with work management systems.
- Demonstrated capability in managing project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
