Sirius Staffing is seeking a Contract Administrator in Tampa, FL. Please contact us for more information.
Pay: $40/hr.
Overview
The Contract Administrator manages the preparation, negotiation, award, and administration of high-value, complex engineering, construction, and engineered equipment contracts supporting electric power, transmission & distribution, and natural gas infrastructure projects. This role operates independently and partners closely with project teams, Legal, and Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead pre-procurement planning and develop effective contracting strategies
- Review and support development of scopes of work and technical specifications
- Identify, assess, and advise on contractual and commercial risk
- Prepare contract templates, commercial terms, and bid documents
- Lead bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract award processes
- Administer contracts during execution, including change orders, claims, and invoice review
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, lien laws, and regulatory requirements
- Support supplier relationships and supplier diversity initiatives
- Coordinate with Legal and Risk Management teams
- Support continuous improvement efforts within procurement and supply chain
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in contract administration, construction, project engineering, or project management
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices and applicable regulations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ERP/SAP experience preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
Travel
- Travel required to company and vendor locations throughout Florida and North America
