We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inside Sales and Office Manager to oversee daily office operations and support sales activities. This role requires strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional service to customers and internal teams.
 
Schedule:
M-F, 7a-4p

Rate:
$21-28.50hr.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
  • Handle counter and phone sales, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Communicate with customers to address inventory needs and process orders efficiently.
  • Coordinate and arrange LTL (Less-than-Truckload) shipments to meet customer deadlines.
 
Inventory and Warehouse Management:
  • Manage daily inventory requests and maintain accurate records of all incoming inventory.
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts and resolve discrepancies through reconciliation and adjustments.
  • Oversee inventory rotation, address low-stock or overstock issues, and suggest product substitutions as needed.
  • Ensure smooth warehouse operations, including pulling orders, packing UPS shipments, and loading/unloading LTL trucks when required.
 
Administrative and Operational Duties:
  • Track and manage employee vacation schedules and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor petty cash and ensure proper documentation for expenditures.
  • Order service parts, fittings, and couplers to meet operational needs.
  • Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance, including forklifts, and coordinate major repairs.
  • Maintain the building by arranging necessary repairs and overseeing general upkeep.
 
Reporting and Coordination:
  • Generate and communicate inventory and order reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Reconcile monthly inventory, addressing and resolving discrepancies with accuracy.
 
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members effectively.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and reconciliation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with LTL shipping, order processing, and warehouse operations preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance is a plus.
