QC Lab Technician
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician for a full-time contract position in Reserve, LA. This role supports Manufacturing, R&D, and Product Development by performing critical testing, inspections, and data validation across raw materials, in-process samples, plant solutions, and finished goods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced in laboratory environments.

Shift/Schedule: 12-hour days 4a-4p 4p-4a, Rotating days and nights 2/3/3/2 schedule
Responsibilities:
- Perform testing, inspection, and validation of in-process samples
- Conduct testing and results reporting for finished goods
- Test raw materials and process solutions with accuracy and consistency
- Complete required data entry and maintain system integrity, including entries in SAP
- Verify proper functionality and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies needed for QC testing
Education, Experience & Skills:
- BS in Chemistry preferred, minimum bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field
- Will consider candidates with 10 years+ experience in lieu of degree (but degree is preferred)
- At least 1 year of full-time experience in a chemical, analytical, or QC laboratory preferred
- Hands-on experience with automated chemistry systems and PC-based data control required
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
