Laboratory Technician I -day Shift
Job Description
- Execute entry-level manufacturing functions in a laboratory setting, leveraging fundamental production lab skills.
- Gain competency in at least three distinct processes within the first six months of employment.
- Create production batches and establish optimal processing routes based on precise specifications.
- Perform oligonucleotide synthesis using various synthesizer platforms, including necessary modification injections and conjugations.
- Execute cleavage and deprotection procedures using appropriate conditions as product specifications dictate.
- Conduct purification processes using diverse methods and equipment, submitting fractions for quality control assessment and selecting materials for combining or shipment.
- Prepare reagents and stock raw materials and supplies for production setup.
- Label and cap product containers and undertake custom formatting or kitting activities as required.
- Quantify and normalize the concentration of materials.
- Perform liquid handling utilizing manual techniques and automated platforms for sampling, product transfer, dilution, and aliquoting.
- Utilize Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) accurately for each manufacturing process step.
- Must have at least an Associate Degree along with 6 months of laboratory experience.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced production environment.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in using MS Office applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
