Job Description

Sirius Staffing is currently seeking a dynamic Lab Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Laramie, WY. This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment for individuals with a strong interest in laboratory work and the potential for career advancement.
 
Responsibilities:
The Lab Technician will play a crucial role in the daily manufacturing of aqueous and solid samples. This entry-level position offers a fast-paced work environment with comprehensive training and opportunities for professional growth.
 
Work Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
 
Requirements:
  • Laboratory skills, including the use of analytical balances, pipettes, volumetric flasks, and other lab equipment are preferred but not required; training will be provided on-site.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines in an effective and safe manner.
  • Compliance with PPE requirements, including latex gloves, safety glasses, lab coats, full-length pants, and closed-toe leather shoes.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
 
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college is preferred but not mandatory, as on-site training is available.
  • Previous experience in a lab environment is advantageous but not mandatory; our experienced production team will provide comprehensive on-site training.
  • Familiarity with a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and a goal-driven attitude are essential. The ability to work well with others is crucial, as projects may range from individual tasks to collaborative efforts depending on size and complexity.
