Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Lead CSA (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) Engineer to join our team in Theodore, AL, or Lafayette, IN.  This is a long-term contract opportunity. 

Pay range $97-126/hr BOE + Benefits Offered 

Schedule - 9am to 3pm M-TH and 9am to 12pm Friday No start before 6 or quit later than 7 

This Lead CSA Engineer will have an emphasis on Architecture topics. These topics include fire protection, ventilation and HVAC design, and occupancy code requirements specific to the specialty chemical industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all sub-deliverable managers in the area of CSA
  • Collaborate with the Lead Plant Layout Design and the Lead Piping
  • Prepare the Project Execution Plan CSA for each phase
  • Control progress and schedule as per the baseline schedule
  • Control cost group civil engineering, structural, and architectural matters
  • Manage change within the technical discipline
  • Report regularly to the project manager
  • Control requests for quote and contract awards for all construction services
  • Involve in the first proposal for CSA design
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in CSA engineering
  • Preferred experience with Tekla or Revit
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate a team
  • Familiarity with progress and schedule controlling
  • Knowledge of cost controlling for civil engineering, structural, and architectural matters
