Job Overview
Sirius Staffing is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturer to hire a Manager of Line Delivery & Sequencing. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting a brand-new, high-volume production facility.
In this role, you will lead the internal logistics operation that keeps the assembly line running smoothly, ensuring the right parts arrive at the right time & in the right order to support uninterrupted production. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape processes from the ground up!
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end material flow from storage to assembly line
- Lead and manage Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) operations
- Manage line feeding, picking (supermarkets), and staging processes
- Direct internal transportation operations (tuggers, AGVs, forklifts)
- Build, implement, and optimize in-house material flow/logistic processes from the ground up
- Lead, develop, and mentor a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, logistics, or production
- 3+ years of leadership experience in an operational environment
- Strong experience in high-volume assembly operations
- Hands-on experience with JIT and JIS delivery systems
- Experience designing, improving, or implementing material flow processes
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Nice to Haves
- Experience launching or supporting a new/greenfield manufacturing facility
- Background in line feeding operations and supermarket/staging setups
- Experience with internal transport systems (AGVs, tuggers, forklifts)
- Exposure to planning, strategy, and process development initiatives
- Experience managing container flow (fulls and empties)
