Job Description
Sirius Staffing is looking for a Warehouse Operator/Material Handler to join our team in Lenexa, KS. This position is a one-year contract with the possibility of extension.
Job Title: Warehouse Operator/ Material handler
Location: Lenexa, KS
Schedule: 2ND SHIFT: 6:45 pm - 7:15 am; 3 nights on then 4 nights the following week (work every night over 2 weeks)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour + 10% shift differential

Additional requirements :
- 2+ years of warehouse/material handling experience (must-have).
- Candidate must be able to pass the MVR, or no offer
PREFERRED:
- Experienced in working 2nd shift.
NOTE: Steel-toe boots and safety glasses will be provided

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, retrieval, shipping, cycle counting, and housekeeping. This individual will work independently and collaboratively, and must be flexible, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Process receipt, put-away, picking, retrieval, and shipment of raw materials and finished goods.
- Perform cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift and pallet jacks (certification can be obtained).
- Follow ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA regulations and internal SOPs.
- Complete daily housekeeping, maintenance, and special tasks as assigned by the Lead or Logistics Manager.
- Support urgent requests and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrate reliability and consistency in meeting productivity and accuracy expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of warehouse/material handling experience (must-have).
- Ability to pass an MVR background check (mandatory).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly, and 50 lbs up to 60 times during a 12-hour shift.
- Basic computer skills (scanning, data entry, PC navigation).
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English.
- Ability to learn ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, and IATA standards.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification (training available).
- Must wear steel-toe boots and safety glasses (PPE provided).
