Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a 2nd shift Configuration Technician for a long-term contract opportunity in Whitsett, NC.The Technician will ensure customer devices and related orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is hands-on and warehouse-based, focusing on device configuration, order execution, and workflow tracking to meet customer commitments and service-level agreements.
Rate: 17.25hr.
Schedule: 2nd shift
Key Responsibilities
- Process and handle customer devices through all stages of the fulfillment workflow
- Perform basic device tasks including auto-provisioning, etching, configuration, troubleshooting, and quality checks on PC devices
- Track and update device and order status as products move through warehouse locations
- Support order fulfillment by managing and prioritizing high volumes of devices and freight
- Ensure all work meets company standards, timelines, quality requirements, and SLAs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to processes and workflows
- Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet tight deadlines during peak periods
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional appearance; role includes exposure to client tours
- Strong technical familiarity with laptops, notebooks, and tablets
- Working knowledge of PC configuration and warehouse operations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage large volumes of orders accurately
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
