Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in St. Louis, MO, working for a large Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility. This is temp-to-hire opportunity to work in the science-driven industry. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and science.  
 
Schedule: Mon – Fri 2p – 10:30p 
Training will be Mon – Fri 6a-2:30p 
$22.44/hr + 7% shift differential 
 
Summary :
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for setting up and preparing products according to current manufacturing procedures, cleaning up equipment and manufacturing suites after production operations, completing batch records during product production, and always following all safety and quality policies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate processing equipment:
    • Operate Watson Marlow pumps, autoclaves, and High Throughput Bag Line.
    • Perform filter integrity testing.
  • Conduct aseptic gowning and qualification.
  • Set up and operate processing equipment such as Filter Integrity testing, Watson Marlow pumps, Autoclaves, and a high-throughput Bag Line.
  • Set up, dispense, and package bags and bottles of technically challenging products.
  • Deliver products to the warehouse using a motorized pallet jack.
  • Clean equipment and work areas after production operations.
  • Coordinate waste disposal and complete compliance documentation.
  • Communicate production operations and equipment status to the supervisor.
  • Provide complete and accurate batch records at the end of production operations.
  • Execute batch records in the computer utilizing SAP (EBR software system)
  • Maintain logbooks as required by procedures.
 
Education and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Aseptic Technique experience 
  • Knowledge in chemistry, mathematics, and science preferred 
  • SAP experience (software system) 
  • Osmometer or pipetting experience preferred 
  • Timeliness and punctuality are a must 
  • Experience with safe chemical handling methods
  • Communication skills, oral and written
  • Computer skills
  • Mechanical and Troubleshooting skills
  • Interpersonal and Organizational skills
 
Ensure Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to production procedures and safety policies.
  • Use, clean, and store personal protective gear appropriately.
  • Properly label all in-process equipment and containers.
  • Take action to resolve any unsafe conditions.
  • Participate in safety and quality training.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in laboratory and work areas.
  • Perform in-process assays when trained.
