Manufacturing Technician 3
Job Description
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift: 6a - 2:30m (some flex to start at 7a)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred Associate’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Must have computer skills, familiarity with SAP a plus
- Must maintain a clean-shaven appearance to meet safety requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with processing equipment.
- Knowledge or experience in operating and maintaining production or processing equipment in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals
- Set up processing equipment to align with current operating procedures.
- Monitor and adjust equipment settings as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, coordinating with repair teams to resolve issues.
- Prepare and process materials according to established manufacturing guidelines.
- Perform routine analytical tests to monitor and control production processes.
- Safely transport chemicals and equipment using pumps, piping, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
- Ensure quality and quantity standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Conduct post-production cleanup of equipment and workspaces, ensuring proper waste disposal and compliance documentation.
- Accurately document production operations, including batch records and logbook entries.
- Report deviations or issues to supervisors and complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) if applicable.
- Input production data such as hours worked and raw material usage into SAP.
- Follow all production procedures and safety protocols.
- Properly use, clean, and store personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Address unsafe conditions and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
- Participate in safety and quality training programs as required.
