Manufacturing Technician
Job Description
- Manufacture and package products according to SOPs.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes are documented accurately in local ERP systems.
- Maintain comprehensive records and keep spreadsheets updated.
- Facilitate the development and updating of documents related to lab procedures and product manufacturing to maintain cGMP and ISO compliance.
- Escalate non-conforming products to management and participate in the investigation process.
- Ensure all quality requirements and scheduled deadlines are met, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Complete all tasks in compliance with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, USDA, EPA, ISO, and Quality System regulations.
- Assist in training other staff members as requested.
- Look for ways to improve and promote quality, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
- Clean labware and maintain general lab cleanliness in compliance with cGMP standards.
- Provide necessary equipment maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Meet productivity standards and strive to increase productivity without compromising quality and safety.
- Participate in various projects aimed at improving efficiency or compliance.
- Follow regulatory and standard requirements applicable to the site, such as MDSAP, ISO 13485, IVDR, and adherence to the site Quality Manual.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- SAP Experience ( preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing or packaging role, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with cGMP, FDA, OSHA, USDA, EPA, and ISO regulations.
- Problem-solving abilities for troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
- Adhere to production procedures and safety policies.
- Use, clean, and store personal protective gear appropriately.
- Properly label all in-process equipment and containers.
- Take action to resolve any unsafe conditions.
- Participate in safety and quality training.
- Maintain good housekeeping in laboratory and work areas.
- Perform in-process assays when trained.
- Set up, dispense, and package technically challenging products.
