Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a regulated manufacturing environment. This is a fully onsite position with second-shift hours and long-term potential for the right candidate.
Position Details
- Title: Manufacturing Technician II
- Location: 100% Onsite
- St. Louis, MO (63118) – Onsite
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Pay: $23/hr
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm Potential
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for setting up and preparing products according to current manufacturing procedures, completing production batch records, cleaning equipment and manufacturing suites after operations, and maintaining strict adherence to all safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate processing equipment, including filter integrity testing systems, Watson Marlow pumps, autoclaves, and high-throughput bag lines
- Perform production activities such as hand filling, fill equipment preparation, and aseptic gowning/qualification
- Deliver products to the warehouse using a motorized pallet jack
- Clean equipment and work areas following production operations
- Coordinate proper waste disposal and complete required compliance documentation
- Communicate production status and equipment issues, and report deviations to supervision
- Complete batch records accurately and in accordance with quality standards
- Execute batch records in SAP
- Ensure all required logbooks are completed fully and accurately
- Follow all production procedures and safety policies at all times
- Properly use, clean, and store PPE
- Label all in-process equipment and containers appropriately
- Identify and address unsafe conditions
- Participate in safety and quality training activities
- Support Manufacturing Technician I activities as needed
- Perform in-process assays
- Set up, dispense, and package technically challenging products
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and attendance
- Stable work history with demonstrated longevity
- Ability to work fully onsite
- Steel-toed shoes required
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or some college coursework
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience
- SAP experience
- Aseptic technique experience
- Osmometer or pipetting experience
- Knowledge of chemistry, mathematics, and science
- Experience with safe chemical handling methods
- Good computer, mechanical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
