Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking Manufacturing Technicians (Gas & Chemical) for the Sunnyvale, CA. This is a career opportunity in a growing industry. Employees will undergo comprehensive OJT, technical training, and qualification programs. Employees must be clean-shaven for this position.
Rates are BOE:
Entry Level $24 – 28/hr
Mid-Level $28 – 32/hr
Mid-Level $28 – 32/hr
High-Level: $32+ per hour (based on extensive experience)

Schedule:
Training (first 2–3 months): Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Once training is complete, you will be assigned to a compressed 12-hour shift, either 7a- 7:30p or 7p– 7:30a
You will support and lead the technical demands of the site gas and chemical equipment, ensuring a steady supply of chemicals and gases to the semiconductor manufacturing environment that produces chips used in electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the onsite project and equipment teams to support gas and chemical operations, including handling and changing containers.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair gas and chemical equipment.
- Use computer systems to support job functions and meet customer needs.
- Help maintain quality systems.
- Participate in projects and operations, focusing on safety, quality management, maintenance, and training.
- Assist with installing, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing gas and chemical systems, including EMD Electronics, Applied Energy, Fuji, and Air Liquide systems.
- Follow operating and maintenance procedures, promoting a zero-incident safety and quality culture.
- Lead and resolve technical issues related to equipment distribution.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience with gas and chemical applications in wafer fabrication, with the ability to respond to emergencies.
- Ability to perform cylinder and drum changes for chemical and gas systems and troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to work with specialized systems and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate and explain technical information clearly.
- Preferred: Subject Matter Expert (SME) in gas, chemical, and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
Physical Attributes:
- Technicians may be required to wear a Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator when working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes)
- Basic lifting (up to 40 lbs.), bending, overhead reaching, and occasional ladder climbing (with fall protection)
- PPE is provided: safety glasses, hard hats, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, and vouchers are provided for required safety boots
