Job Description

Job Title: Material Handler / Sampling Room Technician
Location: 5 Dutch Court
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (OT as needed)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler / Sampling Room Technician to support operations within our controlled sampling environment. This role is responsible for repackaging chemicals and finished products according to customer specifications, as well as general warehouse duties including receiving, storage, shipping, and cycle counting.
This position requires adherence to strict safety standards, PPE requirements, and quality procedures including GMP, ISO, OSHA, and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Sampling Room Operations
  • Repackage chemicals and finished products based on customer requests within a controlled environment.
  • Wear required PPE at all times, including:
    • Hair net
    • Scrubs
    • Safety shoes
    • Safety glasses
    • Nitrile gloves
    • Respirator mask
Warehouse & Logistics
  • Receive, put away, retrieve, and ship raw and finished materials for internal and external customers.
  • Perform cycle counting and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Handle materials in compliance with ISO, GMP, OSHA, and DOT standards.
  • Operate forklift equipment (certification required or ability to obtain).
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience, including material handling.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Experience with dangerous goods shipping (IATA) strongly preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Ability to safely use respirators as part of daily work.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Controlled environment requiring full PPE.
  • Exposure to chemicals requiring strict compliance with safety protocols.
  • Requires standing, lifting, bending, and manual material movement.
  • Requires standard physical exam (post-offer).
  • No exposure to human blood or biological hazards.
  • No animal handling responsibilities.

  • Role is being filled due to a spike in business needs.

  • Forklift operation is required as part of daily responsibilities.
  • No annual hearing test or visual acuity exam required unless otherwise specified.
