Job Description

We are hiring a Material Handler to join our team in Blair, NE. This is a full-time, long-term position working for a large Manufacturing site. This person will work indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions, must be a self-starter and show initiative. 
 
Requirements:
 
  • A valid Driver’s License is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Computer Skills    
  • Previous experience in inventory management and shipping is preferred.
  • Proficient in accurately counting and identifying shipments to match manifest contents; minimal technical knowledge required for part identification.
  • Forklift experience is desirable; training is provided if needed.
  • Industrial experience is advantageous.
  • Professional reference preferred
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Collaborate with teams, including production, maintenance, and contractors.
  • Help organize and distribute parts and equipment for projects.
  • Check pick tickets daily for necessary maintenance materials.
  • Manage all material handling tasks like receiving, shipping, and kitting.
  • Organize MRO inventory shelves physically and in SAP for accuracy.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Support the MRP process by releasing PRs and suggesting data improvements.
  • Execute various transactions in SAP including goods handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness in MRO areas by cleaning shelves and floors regularly.
