Sirius Staffing is seeking a Material Handler for a Contract to direct opportunity in Tualatin, OR. Please contact us today for more information.
 
Schedule: 
M-F, 7am-4pm 
 
The primary focus of work will be on material handling and material logistics. Ordering, receiving, inspection, delivering, pickup and recycling are all aspects of the material handler position.

 Responsibilities: 
  1. The primary focus of work will be on hazardous material handling and logistics. 
  2. Ordering, receiving, inspection, delivering, pickup and recycling are all aspects of the material handler position. 
  3. The material handler will use ISO Quality Management and must be a strong team player. 
  4. Will perform physical labor which is generally associated with cylinder, drum, and other chemical container movements
  5. Our team supports the facility 24x7. The individual may initially be assigned to a (7:00am - 3:30pm) shift for training. Inexperienced and experienced will undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training qualification program. This is a career opportunity in a growing industry.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  2. Communicate effectively using written and verbal skills
  3. Basic computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 • Experience with hazardous materials (gas or chemicals)
 • Previous forklift and pallet jack experience
