Program Assistant
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a part-time Program Assistant for a contract position in Chattanooga, TN to support drug testing operations. This role involves the direct observation of urine sample collections to ensure integrity, compliance, and confidentiality in accordance with established protocols. The Program Assistant plays a critical role in upholding the chain of custody for drug testing procedures.

M-f, 7:45am-10:45am
M-f, 7:45am-10:45am
Rate:
$17.89hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct Observation: Supervise individuals during urine specimen collection to ensure adherence to proper collection procedures.
- Tamper Prevention: Vigilantly monitor for signs of specimen substitution or tampering.
- Specimen Handling: Verify specimen temperature and ensure accurate sealing and chain of custody.
- Record Keeping: Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, including observations, incidents, and all relevant forms.
- Confidentiality: Strictly protect the privacy and confidentiality of all individuals and test results.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and inventory of collection supplies and workspace.
- Communication: Clearly explain collection procedures and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
- Compliance: Follow all company, legal, and regulatory protocols governing drug testing processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong observational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Professional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with drug testing protocols is preferred (training provided).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold legal standards.
Additional Information:
This position may require the ability to testify in court regarding observations if necessary. Training on proper collection procedures and compliance standards will be provided.
