Drug Screener
Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Part-time Drug Screening Technician to support a 1-month contract in Chattanooga, TN. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to maintain a professional environment throughout the testing process.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct urine, saliva, and hair follicle drug screenings in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper sample collection, handling, labeling, and chain-of-custody documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and candidate information.
- Accurately document screening activity and communicate results to designated personnel.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory shipment and processing.
- Provide clear instructions and professional support to employees and candidates during the screening process.
- Stay current on applicable drug testing regulations, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant testing environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in drug screening, specimen collection, medical assisting, occupational health, or a related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working independently and following established procedures.
- Knowledge of chain-of-custody procedures and drug screening regulations is a plus.
